The Korean Society of Craniofacial Plastic Surgery was founded in 1993 as "The Korean Association for Cleft Palate and Related Craniofacial Anomalies" with 46 members, and it has now reached its 31st anniversary. Thanks to the dedication and passion of our predecessors, as of December 1, 2024, the society has grown into a professional organization comprising 995 regular members and 289 associate members, totaling 1,284 members.
Over time, our society has expanded its focus from congenital facial deformities to all areas of aesthetic surgery, including facial contouring, craniofacial trauma, and reconstruction. Recently, we have also ventured into fields such as navigation, simulation, artificial intelligence, and big data, contributing to research and enhancing patient health across the broader medical field.
As the 17th Executive Board, we aim to strengthen the traditions and values of our 32-year-old society and focus on the following goals to ensure continued progress:
During our two-year term, the 17th Executive Board will dedicate itself to the society’s advancement, fostering unity and pride among members.
We look forward to the continued support and guidance of all our members.
Thank you.
